So we’re certainly very excited to hear about The Act Dubai’s arrival next month. It will be on the 42nd and 43rd floors of the city’s Shangri-La Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, and will offer a range of variety acts from international performers. It’s being brought to Dubai by Simon Hammerstein, the grandson of Oscar Hammerstein II who co-wrote the The Sound of Music! Jude Law was spotted at the opening of the Vegas branch in The Palazzo Hotel, and the venue will offer Peruvian food. No, we’re not sure why, either.
